  • All items may be renewed up to three (3) times provided there are no holds/requests for the title.

  • Renewals can be made by accessing your account using your library card number and pin, in person, or via phone.

  • ​Renewing items does not reduce or eliminate any overdue fines accrued.

  • After maximum number of renewals is used, the item must be returned to the shelves for at least 24 hours to allow checkout by other patrons.


  • Call the circulation department at 304-255-0511 ext. 1 or come to the desk during business hours.

    • Staff will let you know if your item(s) can be renewed and what the new due date will be.

    • If you leave a message after hours, we will renew the item when we open. Should the item be unable to be renewed, we will contact you, so please make sure we have your current phone number on file.

  • You do not need to bring the items inside for them to be renewed.​

Working at a Cafe
  • Create an account or log in

    • You will need your library card number and a 4 digit pin number.

    • Pin number can be set and changed online or by library staff.

  • From your account, view your checkouts and extend the due date of your items as long as they are not on hold or already overdue.

    • Overdue items must be renewed by library staff. 

  • Accounts are set to expire yearly. If you are unable to log in, please give us a call or come in the library to confirm your information and renew your account for another year.
