DOES THE LIBRARY HAVE FREE WiFi?

Yes, free WiFi is provided inside all Raleigh County Library branches.

HOW DO I CONNECT?

Simply print a ticket with a passcode at the Reference Department; there is no limit to how many times you log on in a day.

WHAT IF I HAVE FINES ON MY CARD?

No problem! Library cards are not needed to access our free WiFi.

CAN I CHARGE MY DEVICE THERE?

Yes. We have multiple outlets for charging (please don't leave your things unattended).

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS WiFi AFTER HOURS?

Free outdoor WiFi is provided by WV Kids Connect *child's school must give password for access.

CAN I PRINT WIRELESSLY FROM MY LAPTOP OR PHONE?

You can! Send your print job to the following email address and retrieve it at the library reference desk:

I DON'T HAVE MY OWN DEVICE. MAY I USE A LIBRARY COMPUTER?

Yes you may, as long as you don't have outstanding library fines of $25 or more.

I AM FROM OUT OF STATE. MAY I USE A COMPUTER?

Yes. Out of state residents may get a "guest pass" from the reference desk up to five (5) times.

*WV residents are allowed one (1) guest pass before they must obtain a library card.

DO YOU HAVE COMPUTER LAB PRINTERS?

Yes. Please note they print in B&W only.

IS THERE A WAY TO PRINT IN COLOR?

Not from the computer lab, but if you send your print job wirelessly, the reference staff will print it in color.

WHAT ARE THE PRICES FOR PRINT JOBS?

B&W $.20 per page

Color $1.00 per page

*When paying by debit or credit card, photo ID must be presented.
